Mark Bonney, born in Summerseat Lancashire attended Bury Grammar School and thereafter Fleetwood Nautical College.
After a career as a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy, he went on to qualify as a driving instructor, progressing to providing Driving Instructor Training and being an ORDIT registered trainer.
Wanting to be in control of his own destiny he went on to found One Week Driving Course, initially carrying out courses himself and then employing other driving instructors to carry out the courses around the country.
