Intensive Driving Courses in Chatham

My instructor Norman Clough was truly amazing – his knowledge was amazing and he put me at ease and gave me confidence in driving. I passed on my first attempt with just 4 minors. Thank you! I will be recommending Norman.

I had booked 30hr driving test ahead of time as I needed time to pass theory ( 2nd time lucky) but this was my first driving test.
Lee could not have been more good humoured or patient as I had lessons over 6 years ago and needed to pass now to drive kids around as getting more active.
When I started at 8am on Monday I was sure we could iron out and straighten up my driving but I was a lot more rusty than I thought. The lessons were in 2hour stages and I found after 3 sessions a day I was a little tired but could relax and sleep on what needed work on and focus next day. By Thursday I was an ok driver but I would need to pass and that would mean a can do attitude.
Luckily I had Lee Whitehead in my passenger seat, he guided me through the test procedure so I would not be nervous and was really encouraging me that I could drive as I was ‘a nifty little driver’.
The test was good but I was tense. I got 11/15 faults and they were minors that Lee had pointed out but it was a pass. This was the best course for me as it was compact, informative and got the result I set out to get day one. Lee had 8/8 of the last people he had trained pass I was glad to be 9/9. Not only is he friendly, but he knows his stuff so listen well and absorb it all and he will give you all you need to pass.

I could not praise One Week Driving more! They were exceptional to deal with as they were quick to contact and arrange, and very friendly. My driving instructor was Norman Clough. He was phenomenal. Patient and easy to get along with. He made the course enjoyable and taught me skills and strategies that can be applied in any aspect of life. My confidence was very low due to past accidents and Norman gave me the confidence boost that I needed, and really got me up there with the best. I am over the moon and just want to say a massive thanks to everyone at 1WDC for making it so easy, and of course a special thanks to Norman, who, while delivering a simple driving course, helped me develop as a person and taught me a lot about myself that I could not see in myself. Would 100% recommend to anyone, anywhere, ever.

Great course that gets you road ready in days. Not for the faint hearted, they’re “intense” lessons for a reason, but the pay off is amazing.
Instructor was firm, but pushes you on to becoming a competent driver.
